PORT MEETING - MARMARIS - RHODES CATAMARAN CRUISE - WALKING ISLAND TOUR - NEW CITY - OLD CITY EXCURSIONS

We will meet our valued guests at the Marmaris Cruise Port, the departure point for Marmaris-Rhodes cruises, at 8:00 AM (Guests wishing to transfer from Marmaris to the Cruise Port will meet at Eşref Girginç Park at 7:50 AM) and complete our passport procedures. We will take our seats on our catamaran, which departs at 9:30 AM, and depart for Rhodes. After an approximately one-hour journey, we will dock at Rhodes Port, complete our check-in procedures, and then set off on the island.

We will meet our guide waiting for us in Rhodes and depart for our city tour. We will begin our tour, exploring Rhodes like a Rhodes native.

On our walking tour of the island, we first visit Mandraki Harbor, Rhodes' main harbor, home to the famous Rhodes statue, known in ancient times. After Mandraki Harbor, we'll see some of Rhodes' most distinctive historical structures, including the New Bazaar, the Courthouse, the Ottoman-era governor's office, the Ottoman-era Hunters' Association, and the Post Office. Our guide will provide valuable insights into these cultural structures. We'll then visit and learn more about the Church of Evangelismos, a magnificent example of Gothic architecture and considered one of Rhodes' ancient landmarks. We'll then visit the site of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the World but completely destroyed by an earthquake. Its place in the harbor remains, allowing you to imagine how it once represented the entrance to the island. After taking souvenir and group photos here, we'll enter the historic city walls to continue our visits to Rhodes' famous Old Town.

St. Within the castle, which reflects the shared heritage of the Knights of St. John, the Ottomans, and Italians, evoking a sense of journey through time, we explore structures such as Knights' Avenue, the Ahmet Ağa Library, the Ottoman Madrasa and Baths, the Grand Master's Palace, famous for its sculptures and mosaics, the Archaeological Museum, once a hospital for the Knights, the Mustafa Pasha Mosque, the Clock Tower, the Turkish School, the Cem Sultan House, and the Ibrahim Pasha Mosque. We explore these structures one by one, guided by our guide's valuable insights. We then explore the charming cafes beneath centuries-old trees on Socrates Street, one of the island's liveliest streets, and arrive at Hippocrates Square, also known as Şadırvan Square. This concludes our tour of the Old City and gives us free time. During this free time, we can enjoy lunch in this area, guided by our guide's instructions. After a pleasant hour, we return to the Cruise Port to catch our ferry. After completing our passport procedures, we board the ferry and return to Marmaris with fond memories.

NOTE: A transfer will be available for guests requesting a transfer to Marmaris Cruise Port for their departure. Guests requesting a transfer must inform us in advance. There will be no transfer to the center upon return.

NOTE: A SCHENGEN VISA or VISA ON LANDING is required for the program. Guests holding a service passport (green passport) do not require a visa. Our company also offers a visa service. Please contact us for more information.

**Our guide reserves the right to make changes to the program and routes, provided that all visits are completed, taking into account factors such as weather and road conditions that may affect the course of the trip.

**If physical conditions make a visit impossible (road, weather, natural disaster, etc.), our agency cannot be held responsible for the cancellation of that visit.

**Our company cannot be held responsible for any departure time changes or cancellations due to weather conditions that may arise due to the ferry company. In such cases, our company reserves the right to make changes to the tour itinerary, and we cannot be held responsible for any costs that may arise from these changes.

** Greek authorities do not allow entry to the country if their passports contain the TRNC entry/exit stamp.

** Guests who extend their passport validity by extending their passports may experience problems at border crossings. If you are participating in the tour with an extended passport, you must indicate this during tour registration. Otherwise, our agency cannot be held responsible for any problems or inability to enter the country. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
