IZMIR - ALACATI HERB FESTIVAL TOUR (19.04.2026)

According to legend, 1001 types of herbs grow in Alaçatı, but no one can collect these herbs on their own. In order to solve the mystery of this legend, we are participating in the 14th Alaçatı Herb Festival, which will be organized by Çeşme Municipality under the coordination of Alaçatı Art and Culture Association.
In the festival organized to promote the richness of Alaçatı's nature, the diversity of its herbs and to prevent the loss of traditional dishes cooked with these herbs, herbs specific to Alaçatı are collected and delicious dishes are made. We will visit the herb stands of producers on the streets where Alaçatı's cobblestones, narrow-doored Greek architecture and Ottoman architecture meet. We will have the opportunity to taste the dishes of well-known gourmets and the dishes prepared by the festival participants and served at the stands provided by the Festival Committee.

TOUR PROGRAM
We meet you, our valued guests, at 06:30 in the morning at Marmaris Eşref Girginç Park (across from LC Waikiki) and head towards Alaçatı. After a free breakfast break on the way, we head towards the festival area where the festival will be held. After reaching the festival area, we give you free time to participate in the events you want, follow the activities or wander around the stands and taste the food that interests you. As part of the festival program, those who collect the most varieties of herbs and know their characteristics are ranked every year. In addition, within the scope of the Herb Vaccination Competition, the most delicious dishes reflecting the herb and food culture of Alaçatı are tasted and determined by famous gourmets. We will enjoy the scents of herbs mixed together from the stands where various herbs are exhibited and spend beautiful hours with nature-friendly people. We will see how many herbs we do not know, and maybe we will learn something useful for ourselves. After experiencing the festival to the fullest, we meet at the time and place determined by our guide and start our return journey.
** Before reaching the festival area, we will have the opportunity to visit Urla Bazaar on the way back, in line with the information provided by our guide. Depending on the time the group wants to spend in the festival area, this decision will be made by our guide and our guests in accordance with the joint decision. If the whole day is spent in the festival area, the Urla visit will not take place.
After our visits, we start our return journey to Marmaris. We drop you off at the points we picked you up from Marmaris and say goodbye until we meet on other tours.
