TOUR INSTITUTE

DAY 1: MARMARIS-AYVALIK TRANSFER-AYVALIK-MYTILENE ISLAND JOURNEY-CITY CENTER-GERA-AGIASOS VILLAGE-HOTEL

We will meet you, our valued guests, at Eşref Girginç Park (across from LC Waikiki) at 1:00 AM and depart for Ayvalık Port, the departure point for the Ayvalık-Lesbos ferry. After our breaks, we will meet with officials at the MEİS TURİZM office in Ayvalık Customs at 8:00 AM to complete customs procedures. We will then begin our hour and a half-long cruise across the azure Aegean Sea at 9:00 AM. We will arrive at Lesbos Customs at approximately 10:30 AM. After completing passport procedures, we will hand over our luggage to the comfortable bus waiting for us at the customs exit. After a short free time, we'll meet at our meeting point to explore Lesbos town center.

As soon as we enter the city center, we'll encounter historical buildings that embody the spirit of Lesbos. Our first stop is the Church of Agios Therapon, located at the beginning of Ermou Street in the heart of the city, with its striking dome reaching skyward. Following this, we'll embark on a pleasant historical walk with our guide, visiting the Metropolitan Church, the island's religious center, the New Mosque from the Ottoman era, the Old Ottoman Bazaar, and the Bazaar Hamam, which offers a glimpse of the traditional atmosphere.

After this impressive walk, we'll board our vehicle waiting for us in the Panoskala region and join the island's delicious cuisine for lunch.

After lunch, we'll head towards the Gulf of Gera, known as the hometown of Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha. Passing through endless olive trees, we'll arrive at the mountain village of Agiasos, one of the villages on Lesbos that has best preserved its traditional lifestyle.

Here: We stroll through the charming market, famous for its woodcarvings, ceramics, and lacework, and trace the past, accompanied by the scent of lavender and soap wafting from the streets. Then, we visit the Church of the Virgin Mary, one of the island's oldest structures, which evokes a profound sense of peace.

Our tour concludes in the market square. Under the shade of the wisteria vines, we sip our fragrant coffee, slowly brewing on the sand, capping off this unique day. At the appointed time, we depart for our hotel, where we will meet and unwind. (MIDİLLİ ACCOMMODATION) 3* Lasia Hotel / Mytilana Village Hotel / Silver Bay Hotel / Theofilos Superior Petra Hotel / Kalloni Bay Hotel / Malemi Hotel

Note: Depending on the number of reservations, accommodations may be provided at one of these hotels.

DAY 2: SIGRI VILLAGE - ERESSOS - GREEK NIGHT - HOTEL

We begin the day with a delicious breakfast at our hotel. We depart by bus at 9:00 AM and head towards the natural wonders of Lesbos' west coast. Sigri and Eresos, notable for their unique sea and world-renowned fossil forests, await us on our route today.

As we approach Sigri, the panoramic view takes our breath away. This village, notable for its location overlooking two different coasts, offers a picture-perfect scene with the small island in its center. However, what truly makes Sigri so special is its 20-million-year-old Fossil Forest, unique in the world. In this unique landscape, bearing the traces of volcanic activity, we witness even giant sequoia trees petrified and surviving to this day. In these ancient lands, devoid of vegetation, new fossil bodies are being unearthed through ongoing archaeological excavations. Some can even be observed underwater.

Guests who wish can visit the Lesvos Fossil Park Natural History Museum (entrance fee: €5). Here, you can explore the evolutionary process from the first single-celled organisms to fossil trees and touch the marbled tree trunks. The museum also displays a rich selection of Greek flora and aromatic plants.

After this unique experience, we visit the Ottoman Castle, dating back to 1757, stroll through the narrow streets of Sigri, visit the village church, converted from an old mosque, and reach the coast. We then head to Eresos, the hometown of the ancient lyric poet Sappho. A statue of Sappho rises proudly in the village square. However, the region owes its true fame to Skala Eresos, 3 km away.

This area, one of the island's clearest and most delightful beaches, stretches for several kilometers and enjoys the sea and sun on the golden sand. We enjoy our lunch by the sea accompanied by the unique flavors of the Aegean. Guests who wish can cool off in the beautiful sea and unwind from the day's fatigue.

In the evening, we return to our hotel, relax, and prepare for the night. Tonight is a finale worthy of Lesbos!

At 9:00 PM, Sirtaki Night begins, featuring traditional Lesbos cuisine, accompanied by Greek music and dance. This night, where the rhythm soars and friendship meets dance, we create unforgettable memories. (LESBIAN ACCOMMODATION) Lasia Hotel / Mytilana Village Hotel / Silver Bay Hotel / Theofilos Superior Petra Hotel / Kalloni Bay Hotel / Malemi Hotel

Greek Sirtaki Night: This night, with dinner and live music, is included in the tour itinerary. Seafood is the main course. Beverages are extra.

NOTE: Tavern entertainment may be offered on the first or second night, depending on the venue's availability.

DAY 3: THERMI - MANDAMADOS - MOLIVOS - PETRA - MYTILENE PORT - MYTILENE - AYVALIK FERRY JOURNEY - AYVALIK - MARMARIS RETURN

After breakfast, we depart our hotel at 9:00 AM and begin the day with an unforgettable route filled with historical, cultural, and natural wonders. Our first stop is Petra, located in the north of the island.

In Petra, we are greeted by an impressive sight: a magnificent monastery rising atop a rocky hill, accessed by 114 steps. Regular services are held at this sacred site, which still echoes with the sound of bells. After our visit to the monastery, we take a short shopping break in Petra's charming market. In the colorful shops, we find traditional soaps, lavender sachets, ceramic ornaments, and local Lesbos delicacies.

After some free time, we head towards Molivos. With its UNESCO-award-winning architecture, stone-paved cobblestones, and historic atmosphere, Molyvos is a town where time seems to stand still. Accompanied by our guide, we explore the old Ottoman mosque, elegant bay-windowed houses, historic fountains, and distinctive streets leading to the castle. Then, we take in this beauty with a swim and lunch break by the sea.

In the afternoon, we set off for Mandamados, another village steeped in Aegean legends. Along the way, we pass Skamnia, the village of the famous writer Stratis Mirivilis, and experience the inspiring serenity of the Aegean landscape. In Mandamados, we visit the Church of the Archangel Taxiarchives, known for its miraculous events. Believed to be made of blood and earth, the iconic figure makes this place sacred not only to Orthodox Christians but to all visitors. We offer our wishes and embark on an inner journey in this peaceful atmosphere. After this special visit, we take a sweet break with honeyed yogurt and lokma, a traditional Mandamadian delight, in the cafeteria in the monastery's courtyard. The authentic taste of the Aegean lingers on our palate.

On our return journey, we enjoy a panoramic view of Sarlıca Palace, with the Aegean Sea on our left. This magnificent structure, built after the Ottoman era, still stands out with the sulfur spring in its garden. Then, we pass through the town of Thermi and reach the center of Lesbos.

We arrive at Lesbos Port around 5:00 PM, shop at the free shop, and embark on our sea voyage on the 6:00 PM ferry to Ayvalık. After a 1.5-hour ferry ride, accompanied by the cool Aegean breeze, we arrive at the Ayvalık customs office, ending this unique Lesbos adventure with unforgettable memories. We return to Marmaris, delighted with a wonderful holiday. After making some stops for essentials, we arrive in Marmaris. We drop you off at our pick-up points and bid you farewell, hoping to see you again on other tours.
